Course Overview
Introduction - The aim of this training is to provide key knowledge and practical techniques for individuals, their colleagues and managers on enabling positive behaviours, positive thinking and understanding the challenges of menopause.
This training is suitable for participants seeking further knowledge and understanding of the menopause in the workplace. It is also applicable to participants within workplace manager/supervisory roles; mentoring roles and general human resources roles.
Topics covered will include;
The Identification of the current national statistics of those experiencing menopause;
Stages of menopause;
Key terms relating to biology;
Conditions or treatments that may trigger early menopause;
Physical symptoms associated with menopause;
The impact of physical symptoms of menopause on an individual and relationships;
The psychological and cognitive symptoms associated with menopause and
The impact of psychological and cognitive symptoms of menopause on an individual and relationships;
The relationship between menopausal symptoms and mental well-being.

This 1 day course provides knowledge and understanding of Menopause in the Workplace. Applicants must be 16 years or over. This training is knowledge only and work experience is not required.
